We're pleased to welcome Julian Cobley as a new Non-Executive Director and member of our Group Audit & Assurance Committee.
Julian is a senior strategic asset, housing and place leader with more than 20 years of experience working across local government, the private sector and consultancy.
Throughout his career he has held senior leadership roles covering housing, estates, regeneration, infrastructure, investment, and public service transformation, helping organisations make long-term decisions about their assets, communities, and future growth.
Alongside his executive career, Julian brings extensive governance and board experience. He previously served as Chair and Trustee of the Weaver Trust, an education multi-academy trust, where he led the organisation through a period of growth while strengthening governance, assurance, and strategic planning. His wider governance experience includes trustee, committee, and place-board appointments.
Julian currently works as a Senior Account Director at Arcadis, leading work with local and regional government organisations across housing, regeneration, asset management, and place-based investment.
As a Cheshire resident, he is delighted to join us and support our work. Welcome Julian!
