Building in Cheshire

We have an ambitious Corporate Plan which will see us delivering significant investment into our existing homes and communities with an additional development target to bring over 850 new homes into our management in the next five years. We, along with our Shared Ownership brand 'Prospa Homes' are proud to reinvest back into our communities and neighbourhoods, we support regeneration and create more affordable homes for the communities we serve.

We partner with some of the largest and most trusted home builders in the North West such as Barratt Homes, Morris Homes and Jones Homes and work directly with experienced builders such as, XPG1 Ltd and Warden Construction on our own exclusive developments. We are committed to providing high quality affordable homes and therefore working with trusted partners is a priority for us.

Our development plan for affordable homes in Cheshire is led by Gemma Wood, Director of Regeneration & New Homes. We continue to look for development opportunties within the Cheshire and Warrington area, please contact Gemma or the Development Team on 0300 303 9848 or email

Wakefield Court - Community Consultation

Weaver Vale Housing Trust has developed proposals for 16 new houses to be built on land at Clifton Drive, for Affordable Rent. We want to build high quality, affordable and energy efficient houses, to help local families live in their communities. The new houses will reduce our customer’s energy bills and home running costs and will provide much needed affordable rent houses in Leftwich.

We are keen to hear your views about our plans!

We would love to hear your views and feedback on our plans to bring these new affordable houses to Clifton Drive, Leftwich. You can complete a survey online HERE. You can also email comments and questions to or call us on 0300 303 9848 (option 5) to arrange to speak to our customer hub team. Our consultation period will run from 27th November to 11th December, so please provide your comments by 11th December.

At the end of the consultation period we will review all of the comments and questions received and produce some frequently asked questions, which we will send to everyone who has contacted us by the 18th December. A copy of the frequently asked questions, along with information about our plans will be available here.

As part of the planning process there will also be a formal consultation undertaken by the Local Planning Authority within Cheshire West & Chester Council, however, in advance of that, we wanted to notify residents living close to the proposed development of our plans in order to address any queries you may have. If you require this information in another format please contact us and we will arrange this.
