“We’ve seen people move from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to becoming confident and hopeful about the future. It’s a real privilege to be part of that journey and to witness first-hand the difference this programme is making, not just for individuals, but for the whole community", shares Cheryl Quine, our Work and Enterprise Manager, capturing what our Raising Aspirations Programme means to those it continues to support.
Last week, we shared the fantastic news that the programme has secured almost £500,000 in funding for a further five years.
The announcement means continued support for people facing challenges with housing, employment, finances, wellbeing and confidence, helping them take positive steps towards achieving their goals. Since launching in 2023, the programme has already helped participants achieve more than £4 million in income gains, and with our new ambition to support 1,000 people over the next five years, we're excited to see the programme's impact continue to grow.
