We're pleased to share that Cheshire West and Chester Council has approved plans for the Trust to redevelop the former Contour Showers factory site in Winsford, paving the way for 34 new social rent homes.

Working in partnership with Chapter RE Ltd, we'll transform the vacant brownfield site between Bakers Lane and Siddorn Street into a sustainable new neighbourhood, providing much-needed affordable housing for local people. The development will include a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes, helping to meet a range of housing needs in the area.

The scheme has been shaped through consultation and design revisions to improve road layouts, parking arrangements and pedestrian access, including new walking and cycling links to Siddorn Street.

Bringing disused sites back into use is an important part of creating thriving communities and bringing affordable homes for residents across Cheshire.

We will keep sharing further updates as the development progresses - CGI seen above,
