The National Housing Federation (NHF) is the membership body for housing associations in England. It represents housing associations nationally, giving the sector a strong collective voice with government and decision‑makers. The NHF helps shape housing policy, shares research and good practice, and provides guidance and support so housing associations can continue to deliver safe, affordable homes and strong services for their communities.
Why we’re a member
We’re a member of the National Housing Federation because it helps us do more for our customers and communities. Through the NHF, we can influence national housing decisions, learn from other housing associations, and stay up to date with best practice across the sector. Being a member also means we’re part of a collective effort to promote the value of social housing and to ensure housing associations are supported to invest in homes, services and neighbourhoods, now and in the future.
