Welcoming our new Chair of the Board

From September, Kieran Timmins officially takes on the role of Chair of the Board here at Weaver Vale Housing Trust.

Kieran brings over 25 years of board-level experience in the housing sector, where he’s been a passionate advocate for the power of housing to strengthen communities and transform lives. He has previously served as Chair of Cobalt Housing, and Audit Chair at both Plus Dane Housing and Alpha Living. He’s also contributed to broader public service through positions on the Merseyside Housing Market Renewal Board and the West Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group.

In his executive career, Kieran served as Deputy Chief Executive at Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority, and held senior finance roles in local government and the housing sector.

Kieran is already well known to the Trust, having served as Deputy Chair and Chair of the Group Audit and Assurance Committee. Kieran shared: "I'm excited to take on the role of Chair and support the Trust as it moves into its next chapter. I'm looking forward to building on the strong foundations already in place and helping ensure we continue delivering for our customers and communities."

Please join us in wishing Kieran every success in his new role with us.
