Money management and skills courses available for Cheshire West and Chester residents

Offering a range of free money management sessions for people living in the Cheshire West and Chester area and aged 19 and over.

The budgeting sessions, are designed for anyone who wants to build confidence with numbers, understand bills and learn some top tips to save money. There will be a range of practical advice covering understanding household bills and bank statements, borrowing safely, how to cook and shop on a budget, managing energy use, and creating a household budget that works for you.

The skills courses will provide people with individual learning plans so they can make numbers work for them by gaining confidence in how to use numbers in a variety of everyday settings, such as using bus timetables, getting the best deal in the supermarket and other practical tips.

The informal sessions last approximately three hours, you can attend one or all thirteen whatever works for you. They are free to attend and perfect for anyone who needs help understanding money more. Held in community venues with no more than 12 people on each one our goal is to help empower people to manage their budgets with confidence, and we always offer free tea, coffee, and biscuits!
