Warrington & Vale Royal College students get experience on our site
A huge thank you to our contractors John Southworth, who recently welcomed construction students from Warrington & Vale Royal College to our Leftwich development site.
The group of construction students wanted to gain experience and see how a live site operates. Through our commitment to Social Value, John Southworth and the project team kindly hosted the students, giving them the opportunity to explore the site, ask questions, and be inspired by the work taking place in their community.
Jayne Pullar, our Employment Support Team Leader said: “We were approached by Warrington & Vale Royal College asking if it might be possible for students to do a site visit. I contacted John Southworth and organised an introduction to the college contact. It’s great that the team has been able to showcase the work on site and inspire the next generation. We’re so pleased that our contractors are keen to support future talent and give them an insight into a real construction site.”
