Update your Universal Credit journal on 7th April
Do you pay your rent with Universal Credit?
With the annual rent increase, you will need to update your journal on Monday April 7th with your new rent amount.
The new rent costs only come into effect from the 7th April, until then the rent remains at the current amount, so don't update your journal before April!
If you are in receipt of Housing Benefit we will update them on your behalf.
All rent change information can be found in your rent increase letter which was sent to you last month.
We always recommend you keep the rent increase letter you have received for your records.
