New equipment for Winsford Football Club!
We're so pleased to have supported Woodford Junior Football Club with new equipment.
The football club based in Winsford helps support local children, many of which live in our homes, to learn new football skills and take part in matches.
The club applied for our Social Value fund and were awarded £500 to purchase much needed new items. We will also use the fund to pay for the coaches to attend safeguarding training to better support the children they train.
Jayne Pullar, our Employment Support Team Leader, said: "I attended the football club yesterday to present the children with their new items. It was so lovely to see the kids and how excited they are, this new equipment will make a big difference to the club. It's so rewarding to see how Social Value makes a difference to our local communities. Good luck in your matches and I hope everyone has a good season!"
