Changes to our Tenancy Teams
We’re making some important changes to our services to make things better for you. Our Tenancy Enforcement Team is now two specialist teams, this will make sure we can better support our customers and communities. The new teams are the Neighbourhood Housing Team and the Safer Neighbourhoods Team.
Why the change?
We’ve listened to your feedback, and our new team structure is designed to give you a more personalised, responsive service. By having two specialist teams, we can make sure that the right people, with the right skills, handle your case based on the type and urgency of the issue. Whether it’s early support for tenancy concerns or specialist action for serious anti-social behaviour, you’ll get the help you need, when you need it.
Our Neighbourhood Housing Team will help you with early support for tenancy and neighbour issues, aiming to resolve things quickly without formal action. You’ll see them out and about in your communities. We will be sharing details about who your Neighbourhood Housing Officer is next month.

The Safer Neighbourhoods Team will focus on more serious tenancy breaches and high-risk, criminal Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) that requires legal enforcement action. The team will also lead on investigating and tackling tenancy fraud in our communities.
Why this matters to you
By having two teams, you will receive a more personalised and effective service based on the type and severity of your issue. We can now focus our resources and skills in the right areas to you, our customers.
This means:
- Customers dealing with neighbourhood or tenancy concerns where there is no criminal behaviour or immediate threat, will receive practical, early support from the Neighbourhood Housing Team who will have more time to spend working on proactive, restorative preventative solutions with you.
- Customers facing serious Anti-Social Behaviour will receive specialist support from the Safer Neighbourhoods Team who will be able to focus on swift and appropriate legal remedies to keep you and our communities safe.
Our aim is that everyone will benefit from a clearer, fairer process that’s easy to understand and use.
These changes will help us work more efficiently, reduce delays, and resolve cases more quickly and fairly. Our aim is to support customers and to build safer, more connected communities for everyone.
