Gender Pay Gap
What is the Gender Pay Gap?
UK gender pay gap reports explain whether men and women are paid differently within an organisation, and if so, by how much.
It doesn’t compare people doing the same job. Instead, it looks at the average pay of all men compared with the average pay of all women across the whole organisation. This helps show whether one gender is more likely to be in higher‑paid or lower‑paid roles.
Our reports include:
- The average difference in pay between men and women
- How men and women are spread across pay levels, from lowest to highest
The Gender Pay Gap reports show the difference between average earnings of women and men. It is not the same as equal pay reporting.
Because we employ more than 250 people, we are required by Government regulations to publish our Gender Pay Gap each year.
