Weaver Vale residents take part in work placement
Working alongside Procure Plus and Cheshire West and Chester Council our contractors John Southworth have kindly offered work placements for young people eager to get into the building trade.
James (left) and Tom (Right), pictured alongside Site Manager John and Contracts Director Mark from John Southworth, are Weaver Vale residents. They have both been given a week long work placement at our Wakefield Development site in Leftwich as part of our commitment to working alongside our community to teach people new skills and work experience.
Mark, Contracts Direct at John Southworth, said: "These opportunities are part of a fantastic initiative supporting young people aged 16–24, helping them access employment and training pathways. As a bonus, we’ve also been able to secure placements for WVHT residents, which is great for their social value team. It’s great to see partnerships turning into real opportunities for local communities."
