Thank you to all our volunteers

We’re proud to put our customers at the heart of everything we do and this #VolunteersWeek, we’re celebrating the incredible commitment of our Customer Assurance Team (CAT), a dedicated group of customer volunteers who are helping us build better, more responsive services.

Over the course of the 2024/25, CAT members have contributed a staggering 1,121 hours of volunteering! From participating in assurance bootcamps and site inspections to joining colleagues interviews, customer surveys, and neighbourhood focus groups, their involvement has been nothing short of transformative.

Behind these numbers are real people offering their time, insights, and voices to help us grow. This year alone, CAT supported 39 meetings, playing a key role in shaping service delivery, enhancing transparency, and holding us accountable to the communities we serve.

We were especially proud to welcome both Housemark and the Regulator of Social Housing to CAT sessions this year—further recognition of the value and impact of our volunteers across the wider housing sector.

To all our CAT involved customers: thank you. Your honest conversations, constructive feedback, and continued support are driving real, meaningful change. We’re deeply grateful for every hour you’ve given and every idea you’ve shared. You are an essential part of the journey, and your contribution is helping make Weaver Vale a better place for everyone.
