Reducing condensation in the home

With the weather starting to turn cold, you may have noticed more condensation in your home.

This is completely normal and is when warm air meets cold surfaces forming water droplets caused by activities such as cooking, washing and even breathing!

Here are some simple ways to help reduce condensation in your home.

  • Cook with a pan lid to prevent steam escaping
  • Avoid drying your clothes directly on radiators
  • Wipe your windows dry every morning
  • Keep a small gap between furniture and walls
  • Open windows and open trickle vents
