Pour painting at our sheltered living apartments

Customers living in our sheltered living apartments enjoyed a pour painting session last week!

A perfect combination of calming and creativity, the session was run by Independent Living Assessor, Sue Horan. A big thank you to Sue for organising at our Queen Elizabeth House apartments in Northwich, with more sessions planned in the near future.

Neighbourhood Experience Manager, Sylvia Pascoe, also attended the session, sharing:

“This work is so important to reduce isolation and improve the well-being of our residents, there was a lot of concentration and laughing throughout. The oldest resident is a 95-year-old lady who absolutely loved the craft session and is excited for more activities in the future, her blue and white pot was lovely, and goes to prove you are never too old to try something new.”

Designed for those who want the freedom to live independently within a community of similar aged people, customers at Queen Elizabeth House brought their creations to life used acrylic paint pouring and simple techniques to achieve some impressive pieces.
