Our new charity of the year!
We are happy to have chosen the North West Air Ambulance Charity (NWAA) as our new charity of the year!
Founded in 1999, the North West Air Ambulance Charity are fully funded by donations and work in the North West area to attend emergencies on behalf on the NHS. They are open 365 days a year and cover a 5,500 mile radius, helping to bring the hospital directly to the patient in life saving emergencies.
Sharing more on NWAA being announced as our new charity partner, our Giving Something Back team said: “In order to stay open, the Air Ambulance needs to raise £12 million a year. We're delighted to have all voted and chosen this charity to work with and think it will be a great fit for Weaver Vale, and special to play our part in helping them continue the lifesaving work they do right here across our communities.”
