Handsley from our Trades team joins school careers event
Our Advanced Multi Skilled Operative, Handsley, had a great day today visiting St Chad’s Primary School in Winsford for their Careers Day.
The children came dressed as what they’d like to be when they’re older, and Handsley talked about his job and the Trust. One of the children in the classes was his own Grandson Teddy!
Handsley was also joined by his son, who chatted to the children about his role as cabin crew, giving them lots of different ideas about future careers.
Handsley said: “It was lovely to go into the school for careers day and talk about my job and the Trust. I really enjoyed speaking to my grandson’s class and Year 4, the questions were very different! Hopefully I showed them what my role is all about, and you never know, it might inspire some future employees.”
The sessions were fun, engaging, and full of brilliant questions. A big thank you to St Chad’s for having us, and thank you to Handsley and his son for inspiring the next generation.
