Action day at Wharton Gardens!
Yesterday our teams took part in an action day at Wharton Gardens, Winsford.
Working alongside Winsford Police, our teams got stuck in, helping to remove fly-tipping, litter pick across the estate and chat to residents about what matters most to you. We also organised skips to support residents who needed to remove bulky waste from their homes and gardens.
It was fantastic to dedicate a day to improving our local area and turn community spirit into real action. A special shout out to every resident we spoke to who helped move waste, tidy shared spaces and showed a real pride in their neighbourhood - this is what great partnership working looks like!
Lisa Temperley, Neighbourhoods Team Leader, said: “Days like this really show the power of community. Seeing colleagues, partners and residents all come together with so much energy and pride is what neighbourhood work is all about.”
A massive thank you to our staff, partners, residents, and the brilliant Winsford Police team who got involved, Wharton Gardens is looking fantastic, and it’s all thanks to you.
