Weaver Vale Housing Trust has announced the appointment of three new non-executive Board members.
Tony Harker, Lynne Mills and Anne Boyd join the Board at a pivotal time for the Cheshire based housing association. This year saw the launch of a new five year corporate plan which includes the transformation of digital services and an ambitious new build development plan. The appointment of the three new members will add considerable experience in both public and private sectors and along with the recruitment of two new directors earlier this year, positions the Trust well to further grow and transform its services.
Tony Harker joins the Board to support with the Trust’s development plans as it looks to build over 500 new homes over the next five years. Tony started his career in finance working in business development, mortgage underwriting and E-commerce. He moved into housing starting with Barratt Homes before a 13 year career in affordable housing working for a number of leading regional and national Housing Associations.
Lynne Mills has held key roles in BT, O2, Cap Gemini, DSGI, Genesis Communications and The Institute of Customer Service where for the last 8 years she has worked with CEO’s across a number of business sectors helping them to improve their business results. Lynne will use her vast knowledge to help improve the Trust’s customer experience.
Anne Boyd has over 20 years worth of experience spanning public, private and voluntary sectors having held leadership positions within Sport England, The Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), Local Government and her own award-winning business. Anne is also the CEO of Active Cheshire - a multi-award winning charity with a mission to embed physical activity into all aspects of everyday life for the people across the region. Anne will have oversight of the Trust’s digital and IT strategies.
