Northwich-based Weaver Vale Housing Trust has been named as on the best places to work in the country.
The Trust, which manages over 6,000 homes across Cheshire, was included in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-for-Profit Companies to Work For in the UK.
This is the 10th year running that Weaver Vale has been included in the list, which celebrates and showcases the very best in workplace engagement.
The Best Companies award is based on extensive feedback from employees and covers all aspects of working for a business. Whilst the average employee response rate is 69%, over 85% of Weaver Vale staff gave their feedback.
The Trust scored high in a number of areas, particularly around the wellbeing support offered to colleagues. The Trust has organised a series of wellbeing workshops for staff, who can also access further help via external services. 95% of staff also agreed that the organisation encourages charitable activities through its ‘Giving Something Back’ scheme.
Weaver Vale was ranked number 22 in the 2019 Sunday Times Best 100 Not for Profit Companies list – finishing three places higher than in 2018.
