Thumbs up for new Alsager homes

“I absolutely love it here!”

That’s the view of a young mother after she moved in to one of Weaver Vale Housing Trust’s newest affordable homes for rent.

Bethan Rhodes recently moved into a new, two-bedroom property at the Barrington Park development in Alsager, Cheshire.

21-year old Bethan  , along with her 7-month-old daughter  and her dog Lola were living in rented accommodation  in Sandbach, but were keen to move back to the area where she grew up to be closer to her family.

“I have only been here a few weeks but it already feels like home,” said Bethan

“I was living in another housing association property and it wasn’t for me. It was too big and circumstances meant I needed to move out and get my own space.

“I came across these new homes Weaver Vale were developing and decided to go for it. I kept everything crossed and then I got the phone call to say I was successful. I was shocked but happy – I could have cried! This house and area are perfect for us.

“It’s a lovely place. It’s really quiet and I’m so impressed with the quality of the homes here.. I’m from this area originally so it was important for me to be close to my family.

“It has been such as smooth process with Weaver Vale as well. They have helped me every step of the way.

“My daughter loves the garden – we didn’t have any green space at our previous property to it’s great that she now has the space to play.”

Homes like the ones in Alsager are part of Weaver Vale’s ongoing commitment to deliver good quality, affordable homes for people across the region.
