The Support & Wellbeing team at Weaver Vale Housing Trust have been playing Santa all week, delivering some Christmas cheer in the form of toy and food hampers to the most vulnerable of Weaver Vale’s customers.
The Trust has received a huge number of toy and food donations from the Salvation Army, Silk FM, Dee Radio, Vale Royal Lions Club’ and Hartford Methodist Church.
All the donations are made into hampers and distributed all week by staff at Weaver Vale, including Chief Executive Wayne Gales.
This year the team have handed out over 70 hampers over five days across Northwich, Winsford, Frodsham and outlying local villages.
Wayne Gales, Chief Executive of Weaver Vale said
“Partnership working is so important, and The Salvation Army are blessed with an unbelievable group of volunteers all of whom give up a great deal of their time to make sure more vulnerable people are looked after.
On behalf of the Trust I’d like to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone who has donated food and toys, these hampers really do make a difference to people’s lives.”
