Regulatory V1 and G1 Ratings Achieved

The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) announced Weaver Vale Housing Trust has achieved the highest rating for governance and financial viability. The RSH visited the Trust in August of this year to carry out an in-depth assessment and focused on factors such as WVHT’s risk profile, value for money, health & safety compliance, financial strength and governance.

To achieve the V1 and G1 ratings The Trust had to meet governance requirements and prove it has financial capacity to deal with a wide range of scenarios. Wayne Gales, Chief Executive said "It’s a fantastic achievement for everyone here at the Trust and reflects the hard work of the Board, engaged customers and of course all our staff for all they have done and continue to do. Their commitment, dedication, hard work and can do attitude ensures the Trust is positioning itself to be ‘Fit for the Future’ not just for today, but for years to come.

"I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all colleagues for their efforts in securing this much deserved accolade”.
