The Trust Rewards Pilot came to an end in April and we are delighted with how things have gone. We’ve allocated £6000 of cash prizes to people in the Grange Neighbourhood and £4630 of Love2Shop Vouchers in the Barnton neighbourhood.
Mr Cowan lives in the Grange neighbourhood and said:
“I’ve lived in this house for 50 years and I’ve never won this much money before, we’ll definitely be spending some of it on our holidays later this year.”
Ms Astbury lives in the Barnton neighbourhood and added:
“It’s been brilliant receiving the vouchers through the post, I've been saving them to buy something big from Argos, I don’t know what yet though!”
Gary Hood, Transformation Manager, ran the programme, he said:
“We’re really pleased with how the pilot went. It’s been good to recognise those customers who have been meeting the reward criteria and the scheme’s been well received in both neighbourhoods. There’s also been a lot of support from customers in our other neighbourhoods, who feel that it’s a good idea to have some sort of reward in place.”
The Board have now reviewed all of the findings from the pilot and have agreed to a Rewards scheme being rolled out to all of its customers. Work is now taking place to develop this with a view to the scheme being available next year. Customers are advised to keep their eyes peeled in the local press and on social media for announcements about it.
