One grandmother has chosen the later after becoming our latest Just Rewards winner
Northwich customer Irene Hughes, was one of three lucky winners chosen at random as part of our monthly Just Rewards prize draw
Just Rewards is our way of saying thank you to loyal customers who stick to things like paying their rent and keeping their property tidy.
Retired dress maker Irene is originally from Manchester but moved to Northwich to be closer to her family.
“I cried when they told me I had won,” said Irene.
“I couldn’t quite get my head around the fact that I had won. It took a while for everything to sink in but I was over the moon – the staff at Weaver Vale explained everything to me and everyone was so pleased for me.
“Earlier this year I had booked a holiday to Gran Canaria for myself, my granddaughter and her boyfriend. I hadn’t finished paying for it so this Just Rewards win will do just nicely!
“We are going all inclusive for a week and we can’t wait. I first went to Gran Canaria a few years back and really enjoyed it. We are going later this year – I just hope the weather will still be warm then!”
What is Just Rewards?
Just Rewards is our way of saying thank you to our loyal customers who stick to their tenancy agreements.
The idea is to reward customer show keep up-to-date with their rent, stick to repair and servicing appointments and don’t cause any trouble for neighbours.
We also hope that those who may be falling behind with their rent will contact us and work with our Money Matters and Income teams to agree a way forward – so you can still be in with a chance of winning.
Each month all eligible customers are entered in to a draw and THREE winners are chosen at random to scoop the £1,000 prize.
Previously, Just Rewards has only been open to customers who have completed their starter tenancies. But we are now pleased to announce that ALL eligible customers will be entered into the monthly draw, once you have maintained your assured tenant status for 13 weeks.
To be in the draw you must...
- Be a current Weaver Vale Housing Trust customer
- Not be in rent arrears or at least have a payment plan in place
- Not miss repairs appointments
- Have let us in to do your annual gas safety/ solid fuel serving checks
- Have no outstanding recharges (debts for work or services we have done)
- Not be in breach of your tenancy agreement
- Not be on the violent persons register
