We are looking for people who have a strong local knowledge or an understanding of our communities with expertise around Customer and Community Engagement to help us better connect with our customers and communities. To help us achieve this aim we are keen to have a Board that includes people from a diverse range of backgrounds and different life experiences.
We are seeking at least one Board Member with customer and community engagement expertise and at least three Board Members with expertise in one or more of the following areas to help take forward our ambitious plans:
- Technology-led change management
- Strategic Finance, Risk Management and Financial Performance
- Development/Health and Safety/Regeneration
- Housing Management
- Human Resources and Organisational Development
Previous Board Member experience or knowledge of the social housing sector is not necessary as full support and mentoring will be provided, including an induction programme with tailored learning and development plans and a buddy system so that so that you get to know us and feel part of our Board immediately. This will be built around your needs and over a time period that fits in with your circumstances.
