People are being invited to find out more about a supported housing service for young women at an open day next month.
Cotswold House, which is based in Winsford, is opening its doors to supporters and professionals on Wednesday 3rd July, for those who wish to come and have a look and find out more about the scheme.
Cotswold House provides safe and supportive accommodation for homeless women across Cheshire, aged16 upwards with rooms available for Mum and one baby. Cotswold House has nine bedrooms, with communal facilities including laundry, two lounges, a therapy & craft room and a large enclosed communal garden.
The service, which is operated by Weaver Vale Housing Trust, has helped hundreds of young women and children since it opened in 2006.
As well as looking around, visitors to the open day will be able to speak to the staff, current residents and representatives from Weaver Vale Housing Trust. There will also be a BBQ, refreshments and a raffle.
Angela Kandeh, Manager at Cotswold House said:
“We have fantastic support from across the community, and this is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to everyone. It’s also a great opportunity for professionals involved in delivering services, to find out more about Cotswold and the work we do.”
Attendance is strictly by invitation only and you must contact to register your interest. If you would like to attend, please get in touch with Cotswold House on 01606 862431 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
