The Trust is committed to listening to our customers’ views and working with them to make improvements to the services we provide. Getting involved and volunteering with the Trust can take as much or little of your valuable time as you can spare. We have an email survey called EVoice that takes a few minutes each month, you can register your interest for a one off focus group or you can apply to join a formal group or committee.
We have a dedicated team that supports customer volunteers. We can also send you on relevant training courses, provide in-house training, transport to and from our Head Office in Northwich or mileage reimbursement and help towards child care costs to cover meetings.
If you are interested in volunteering with the Trust, and helping to support the work that we do, please contact our Tenant Engagement Officer, Gemma Massey for a chat about the opportunities available to you on 01606 813422 or by email on firstname.lastname@example.org
Getting involved with Weaver Vale has changed my life for the better in many ways but the main reason I do it is for my son. It’s helped give him and his friends a sense of respect for their surroundings and other people. When you volunteer you naturally come to care for an area more.
As for myself, being involved has helped me to build up my confidence, make friends and get qualifications.
Customer Voice Panel (CVP)
Members of the Customer Voice Panel provide customer assurance on compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) Consumer Standards and ensure views representing our full customer base are heard and influence the Trusts service offer. They also comment on all customer focused policies and procedures.
If you feel strongly about improving the services we provide and want to help shape how we work, this could be the group for you!
This group meets once a month at our head office in Northwich. You must be over 18 and have been a tenant for at least 12 months to become a member and not currently serving as Town Councillor or have done so during the last 4 years.
The Trust works closely with a group of volunteers called the Tenant Partners who are based at our Head Office on Gadbrook Park. These volunteer customers carry out a range of tasks on a weekly basis to help support the Trust to continuously improve the services we provide.
At the moment the group is conducting surveys relating to the work done by our Money Matters Team, beginning a review of the sign up process for new customers and providing research support to The Scrutiny Panel.
The Tenant Partners currently meet on a Tuesday morning in the Tenant Resource Room at Gadbrook but arrangements can be made to accommodate volunteers unable to make it along on a Tuesday. If this group sounds like something you would also like to be a part of please get in contact with our Tenant Engagement Officer, Gemma Massey, on 01606 813422 / email@example.com
