How long is the training?

Training starts January 2022, with an introduction session in December this year and run will for around seven months. The training will take place both in person and online and will be around 1 1/2 hours at a time, every 3-4 weeks. Training won't take place in any school holidays. There will also be around 3 hours of mentoring per month, the mentoring will be arranged to suit each person.

Where is the training?

The training will be a mixture of in person and online. In person training will be at a local venue near our Head Office in Northwich.

If I do the training do i have to become a Board Member at the end?

No, if at the end we mutually decide that this is not of interest or an option then you do not need to put yourself forward for a position on our Board.

How much do i get paid and will it make any changes to my benefits?

You will be paid £1,500 for completing the programme to be paid in monthly instalments. This can be paid to your bank account or via gift vouchers depending on what you choose.  As everyone's situations are different we would not be unable to tell you whether the payment you choose will affect your benefits or not but we can provide you with a benefit check and advice from our Money Advice team should you need to check this before agreeing to sign up to the programme. We will also pay travel expenses when training is in person.

I don't have a computer or laptop, can i still do the training?

Yes, we are providing trainees with a device eg a laptop. If you don't have the Internet we will provide support with this.
