The Performance Improvement and Enhancement (PIE) Group are now up and running, and scrutinising its first service area for the Trust's tenants – The New Tenant Process and Procedures. The group hopes to be able to recommend improvements and enhancements to Trust services on behalf of tenants by completing an in-depth review of this service. The group has the power invested in it, by the Trust, to ensure that all improvements and recommendations are implemented, which makes the PIE group an important tool for tenants to be able to make effective changes to things that matter to them. The PIE Group currently has 5 members who represent a broad range of neighbourhoods and have a good range of skills and experience that they can apply when scrutinising service issues on behalf of tenants. However the group want to attract more members to assist in this interesting area of tenant involvement. So, we are looking for tenants who want to play a vital part in shaping the future services we provide and how we deliver them. The time taken by this involvement can be as much or as little as you can manage, and the Trust will support you with training, PC and internet access, and reasonable expenses incurred. If you would like to know more, or have a chat about the group and its work, then please contact Donald who will be pleased to discuss it with you, or meet up and explain to you in person.
