Environmental & Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy Targets


1. Design and Specification of Homes and Home Improvements

The Trust will deliver homes which meet the Homes and Communities Agency’s minimum requirement of the Government’s Code for Sustainable Homes, which is currently level 3.

2. Ecohomes XB

To achieve a rating of 50 (currently 29)

3. Paper

To reduce the quantity of paper used by 10%

 

4. Fuel

To commence measurement of the number of car journey miles saved through homeworking, review trends and set future targets.

5. Abandoned Furniture

To commence measurement of the number of properties from which furniture has been recycled through Furniture Finders, review trends and set future targets.

6. e-Business

To increase the number of businesses with whom we transact paperless invoicing to 5.

7. Energy consumption advice to customers

To commence measurement of the number of customers receiving an energy advice visit, and increase the number annually.

8. Grants

To receive a minimum of £100,000 over the life of the strategy.

9. PR and publicity

To include a relevant article in Your Home magazine at least once per year.

10. Gadbrook Point

To reduce energy consumption by 10% over the life of the plan (58,000 KWh /annum / 20 tonnes CO2 per annum)

11. Bribery Act 2010 - Weaver Vale Housing Trust
